Premiere stage play ‘BLACK MARKET’ for actors 25-50

Future Dramatics are looking for three leading roles in their original production ‘Black Market’. The production is a horror drama about a scientist who discovers the vaccine to cure any illness. We are looking for actors aged 25 – 40 to play two sisters and one middle aged man.
Important Dates:
This production will be performed as apart of Anywhere Festival Brisbane 2020.
Rehearsals will take place from 22 February 2020, with performances in mid May 2020. Rehearsals will be twice a week: Tuesday evenings (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM) and Sunday afternoons (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM). Rehearsals will take place at QUT Kelvin Grove and St Joseph’s Nudgee College in Boondall. Please check the audition pack for a detailed rehearsal schedule.
Audition Process:
Auditions are by ‘self tape’ video. Submissions will open on Monday, 9 December 2019 until Friday, 24 January 2020. Applicants should record a 5-6 minute video performing a short monologue and reading the script excerpt in the audition pack. Call backs will be in person on Saturday, 1 February 2020. All applicants will be notified by email.
The first round of auditions are by video application. The second round (call backs) will be held at QUT Kelvin Grove.
