Simon Says

Eric Heller is casting for two roles in his upcoming scifi short film based on the story “Simon Says” by Matt Roseti. Simon Says is a heartwarming story about a young boy and his best friend: a five foot tall robot (think, a life size version of the robot toys from the 70s).
1) JIMMY: AGES 8-10. Jimmy is quiet and reserved: a bit of a bookworm type. His best friend is a full size robot, who he feels is the only person who gets him. MUST have strong acting abilities and imagination, as the robot will be added in post production.
2) STAN: AGES 50s-60s. Stan is a plain-speaking mechanic type who despite being gruff, cares about his grandson Jimmy, and will do just about anything for him.
Filming will be one day, SATURDAY, AUGUST 22nd, in Fayetteville, GA. This day is locked in for location, crew, and equipment rentals so only submit if you are available for a full day of filming.
These roles are UNPAID, however lunch and snacks will be provided.
