Onipa’a

Onipa’a is a story about Li’i, a kalo farmer who must overcome his prejudice in order to find a worthy successor and protect his lo’i patch from the construction of an office building.
We are looking for the following roles:
KAMA
Middle aged local male, strong physique. Growing up constantly outdoors in Waimanalo, he has always believed that work is the true language of the heart.
JAMES
10-15 year old Caucasian male, military kid. Curiosity of the Hawaiian culture drives him outside of his comfort zone. He isn’t afraid of a little mud or hard work.
POH’KEA
10-15 year old local male, son of main character Li’i. Expresses more interest in football than his dad’s profession.
POH’KEA’s FRIENDS
10-15 year old males. Any ethnicity.
CONSTRUCTION WORKERS (EXTRAS)
20 years or older. Male or female. Any ethnicity.
