Casting non union actor/actress for “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe,” and “The Legends of Greek Mythology” for The Traveling Lantern Theatre Co.These are 2 person 45 minute plays with interactive elements. The shows will travel to elementary schools and libraries in NO. CA.,OR.,WA. and are presented with a portable set, props and costumes that the actor’s transport and assemble.
We are seeking an actor Male or Female to play Homer V and the multiple parts roles in LWW. We are looking for a strong character actor/actress with versatile skills who is on time and responsible as our clients our elementary schools and libraries. Previous children’s theatre experience a plus. Please include cover letter with your submission detailing any similar experience. Contract is for over $4000.00+. More bookings are expected. We pay $50.00 per show, most days have multiple shows.Rehearsal stipend. All gas, parking, tolls and overnight hotels are paid for.
Please note- We are seeking an actor who has a place to stay in the Bay area and a flexible work schedule!
The rehearsals will be Feb. 16-20 in Portland,OR. with the first show Feb.21st. The first 2 1/2 weeks will be in the NW- OR./WA. area and then the tour will return to the Bay area March 10th for the bulk of the time through mid May.The schedule will be made available for you to plan other work around.
