The Fat Lotta Good Cabaret is looking for new and experimental acts for our premiere showcase on Vashon Island! We’re calling for artists willing to create something brand new for our show on Wednesday March 25th.

We’re in the market for creators of all colors, creeds, and gender identities who want to push the limits of their creative potential with 3-6 minute acts never before seen! This month our theme will be TEMPEST.
What does that spark for you? Perhaps a sea captain character with a flair for the dramatic, a wild ride of music and live painting, or a movement piece inspired by the windy shores of Vashon Island!

Are you thinking, “What’s Fat Lotta Good Cabaret, anyway?!”
We’re a small group of Vashon Locals and New to Island-ers looking to shake up the theater scene with experimental work, unexpected collaboration, and a whole lotta enthusiasm. We want to bring artists together to create things they’ve only dreamed about, creating a safe space for new artists to play in front of an audience and experienced artists to explore a new and riskier side of their art. If you ever thought making something new would be a fat lot of good, you’d be wrong! Which is what makes Fat Lotta Good Cabaret sooo right. We’ll be doling out 8-12 new acts monthly according to an audience selected theme to be sure the material is current and fresh.
