NOW CASTING: “12 Dates of Christmas” on HBO Max
HBO Max is coming up with its own holiday inspired dating show they have titled “12 Dates of Christmas” – According to the Hollywood Reporter story about the show, HBO Max’s VP of original programming, Jennifer O’Connell described the show as where “Viewers can grab some hot cocoa, watch the romance unfold and be charmed right along with these hopeless romantics as they search for a Christmas miracle — true love.” O’Connell also added that “The holidays can be a magical time for budding relationships, and where better to find your perfect match than in this real-life fairytale castle in the snow?”
Fairytale indeed as the show is rumored to be set in a Christmas castle. In the castle, singles cast for the show will participate in some wholesome Christmas and winter time fun with activities like ice skating and sleigh rides. The show is a reality TV version of a Christmas time romantic comedy complete with Christmas sweaters, mistletoe and romantic evenings hanging out by a fireplace. This is a reality show so expect some drama and singles will be choosing the person who they would like to actually spend Christmas with.
