Project Synopsis
This documentary features normal everyday people living with scars from past injuries, growth, self-harm, or medical procedures. Through film, we hope to bring to light the many struggles people with scars need to deal with, and how they have come to accept themselves. We want to see scars, not as something that should be hidden, but as empowering symbols that represent self-acceptance, resilience, and human nature.

Scars(working title) will be produced by Refusion Films in collaboration with Shonen Bag Studios.
Compensation
Demo reel footage and $5-$10 dollars for travel(if applicable)
Audition
We will be interviewing people, either in person or online, in February. Further information will be given after submission.

Submission Instructions
To submit, please email refusionmagazine@gmail.com. Please include your name, age, and a headshot. Also, tell us what type of scar you have and how it has changed you(acceptance, discomfort, changes in routine, etc.).
Roles
For this project, we are looking for real people that have scars. One should be comfortable talking about their scar and showing their scar on camera. Our crew will take all the measures to make sure that interviewees are as comfortable as possible.
