Community Players is excited to announce our spring production, “The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby” by Norm Foster.
Auditions for this play will be:
Sun Feb 16, 2:00 pm
Mon Feb 17, 7:00 pm
Auditions will consist of readings from the script – reply if you’d like to read the script beforehand. The cast is composed of 2 adult men and 3 adult women.
Roles:
Sienna Gray: Female, 50-60
a divorcee with a dry wit, she owns the town’s general store and is estranged from her only son.
James Bell: Male, 25-40
an investment banker who has spent the last few years focused on his career, while neglecting everything else in his life.
Rhonda Borkowski: Female, 35-55
the town flirt and owner of the only motel in Kooshog Lake.
Kirk Douglas: Male, 50-70
owns the bait and tackle shop, also the town mechanic, the founder of the Hollis McCauley fishing derby, dispenser of advice.
Melanie Morningside: Female, 25-35
a young woman who is getting over a broken heart, fiercely defensive of Kooshog Lake.
Rehearsals will start Sun Feb 23 and will be held Sunday afternoons and Monday and Wednesday evenings.
