Available roles:
– Agnes: Lead / 28-35/ White / Serious and disciplined but not callous. Entirely about control. UK accents preferred; Germanic and Eastern European accents are also acceptable.
– Bruno: Lead / 18-23 / Warm and friendly, a talker and natural extravert with a tinge of desperation, as if compensating for something. UK accents preferred but not necessary. Black, Latinx, Mediterranean, and Indian ethnicities preferred. Biracial is a plus. Must be comfortable cooking.
– Scott: Supporting / 29-35 / Young professional wrapped up in the mundane modern routine. Mild mannered and non-confrontational but considerate. UK accents preferred; Germanic and Eastern European accents are also acceptable.
We are film undergraduates working on our dissertation project. Previous experience includes making the longlist for the 2020 BBC Drama Room and placing 15th in an international Film Racing competition.
This production falls under exemption from COVID-19 restrictions. Proper documentation and permissions from Reading University will be carried on set for all cast and crew. Crew will practice social distancing and wear PPE at all times.
Roles will be unpaid but meals and transportation will be covered.
Filming will take place between 22nd February and 1st March, 2021 in Reading, UK.
