Open Auditions in Winnipeg for Winnipeg Fringe show (Canada) – “Much Ado About Nothing”

Young Actors wanted for Winnipeg Fringe show.

Indifferently Reformed is casting its 2020 Winnipeg Fringe production of William Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’! No Shakespeare experience is required, as our rehearsals will be preceded by a Shakespeare training crash course. Training will start on Monday, March 23rd, with rehearsals continuing every Monday and Wednesday evening until our performances at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival in July. This is a non-union production, with payment based on a percentage of the box office returns.
We are looking to cast the following roles:

BENEDICK
BEATRICE
CLAUDIO
HERO
LEONATO
DON PEDRO
DOGBERRY
DON JOHN

There are also a few spots open for ensemble members who will play a variety of characters, such as Borachio, Friar Francis and the Watchmen.

Auditions will be happening on Friday, Feb. 14th, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Saturday, Feb. 15th, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue (Shakespearean or contemporary).
