‘At the Dentist’ is a short comedic student film about a guy that completely loses his cool at the dentist’s office. Please be advised that there is a bit of foul language in the script. The project is non-paid and non-union. Lunch and snacks will be provided on filming days. Upon completion of film, actor will receive copy of film and IMDb credit.
Roles being cast:
Paul Hayward – Caucasian male in his late twenties to early thirties. A polite and quiet man, he reaches his boiling point when faced with Mason, the demon child from Hell. Lead role.
Receptionist – Middle aged female, race not important. Very polite and overly friendly, she is able to stand her ground and give it right back when dealing with a rude and obnoxious young mother. Lead role.
Young Woman – Caucasian female in her mid to late twenties and mother to Mason. Loud, entitled, and obnoxious, she is completely oblivious to the havoc her son in wreaking. Supporting role.
Mason – Caucasian male, four to seven years old (written as a five year old). As his mother pays no attention to him, he is allowed to run crazy and make messes all over the waiting room. Supporting role.
Mr. Pittman – Older male, race not important. He sleeps in the waiting room until called back by the nurse. Minor role with limited dialogue.
Nurse – Gender and race unimportant. Welcomes and escorts Mr. Pittman and Paul to the back area. Minor role with limited dialogue.
