STORYLINE:
Vivean Oviette, biological mother of adults May and Marco, passes away bringing the adopted siblings together for the first time as they road trip for a single day to what would have been their childhood home.

[MAY]
18 to 35 years old, all ethnicities female. May is an adult in her 20’s. Estranged from her adopted family, she meets her biological brother Marco for the first time after the two are left their biological mother’s estate. She picks up Marco in her red Mazda hatchback, and the two discover their newfound sibling dynamic as they drive to a house belonging to a mother they never knew.
May has a sharp sense of humor. She is a highly sensitive person and extremely emotionally intelligent. She is a bit nervous about Marco, fearing he might be an imposter, kidnapper, or worse, however she takes immediate pride upon meeting him, tender with a new relationship she’s never had before. She is slightly judgmental, however she is polite about it, preferring to suffer in silence than make a fuss. She needs control over her space and belongings, as she likes things done in a specific way or order. She believes in the paranormal and magical, something she feels isolated by. However, she is confident and sure of herself.
[MARCO]
18 to 35 years old, all ethnicities male. Marco is an adult in his 20’s. He has an uninspiring relationship with his adopted parents, never actually feeling like they were his family. Meeting his biological sister, May, he feels a warm, relaxed joy in finding a new relationship that feels as if it always should have been there. As the two drive to their deceased biological mother’s estate to sort out their inheritance, they explore a new sibling dynamic they had been missing their entire lives.
Marco is creative, finding the humor in small moments. He is humble and unpretentious. He can be spacey and inconsiderate, sometimes stepping on people’s toes, however, he always finds his way back into their good graces. He sees the best in others’ intentions. He is not confident or sure of himself, however, his charisma and impressive sense of humor often hides these qualities. He dabbles in belief of the paranormal and magical, willing to lean into others’ confidence in it. He is suggestible and will often agree with both sides of any given argument.
