*HOUSING PROVIDED for Old Sturbridge Village(MA) rehearsals/performances
Pay: $4,000 stipend, plus housing at Reeder Inn in Sturbridge MA August 9-30
*Performers cast must be available for all rehearsal/performance dates (Local Hire in RI)
Casting 4 Actors (2M, 2F— each plays 2 characters)
1. VINCENT/HANSEL (age 25-40)
VINCENT— A little pig who takes a lot of pride in the rational thinking he used to survive a hungry wolf’s attack. Elon Musk meets Ben Schwartz.
HANSEL— A young German boy who is determined to get in shape after eating his way through the pandemic. Dan Levy meets Titus Burgess.
2. PINOCCHIO/BABY BEAR (age 20-30)
PINOCCHIO— A former chid-star adapting to life as a “real boy”, contemplating several simultaneous existential crises. Timothy Chalomet meets Macauley Culkin.
BABY BEAR—A little bear with a healthy appetite who is more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. What he lacks in experience and grace, he makes up for in enthusiasm.
Dax Shepard meets Ashton Kutcher.
3. BEAUTY/GOLDIE (age 20-30)
BEAUTY— A young millennial woman making a conscious pivot away from her wealthy upbringing, and down to tell anyone who will listen. Jenny Slate meets Mindy Kaling.
GOLDIE— A bold, young tech-entrepreneur. A no-nonsense Type A personality masking a sensitive soul. Young Oprah meets Sheryl Sandberg.
4. GRETEL/GRANNY LIL (age 25-40)
GRETEL—A young German girl who rather enjoyed quarantining at the recently-deceased witch’s house, eating sweets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Annie Murphy meets Rebel Wilson.
GRANNY—A seasoned woman, who survives a near-death experience and quite liked the thrill of it all. Patti Lupone meets Maya Rudolph.
