The Opera

I am still on the lookout for an Opera Singer for my short film project I will be shooting in the first week of May.
The Film is about the dialogue between Artists and Viewers and how that discussion was interrupted by Covid. As the Opera Singer you will represent the world of the Artist and convey the pain of this situation through a powerful performance in an empty theatre and a spoken lyrical text.
This film is supported by a stipend of the hessian ministry of culture which covers basic production and travel cost. Unfortunately that means we are unable to pay. Travel costs within 30 Miles of Downtown Detroit will be covered such as catering on set.
We will be shooting inside the FOX Theater on May 3rd with additional shots outside in the City. If you are unable to record the Opera piece and the text on your own we will arrange another Date to make those recordings (Sometime between May 2nd and May 7th).
Please note that we are still in Germany at the moment, so we would have stay in contact through Skype or Zoom.
