Carter Family

We will be holding auditions to cast the parts of Anita and Helen Carter from country music’s most famous family, The Carter Family. Performances will mostly consist of singing/playing music but will also include short, vaudeville style skits and jokes between Carter sisters.
Casting for:
Anita Carter: soprano or mezzo range preferred, can play or willing to learn electric and/or standup bass
Helen Carter: alto or mezzo range preferred, can play or willing to learn accordion and/or guitar and/or mandolin
This will be a regularly performing group that travels (midwest) with a Johnny Cash tribute act as well as performing as a standalone “Carter Family” act. Performance dates vary from 1-5 shows a month, mostly afternoons, evenings, and weekends. When traveling, food and lodging is provided. Costumes, upgraded instruments, and further coaching (if needed) will be provided as well. Professional pay.
