We are excited to announce that in Fall 2021 we are bringing Seussical Jr., back for two weekends of live performances and live stream from IPBA Studio 7 theater.
As a previous Seussical cast member we are inviting you back to keep your previous role/roles and/or audition for new roles based on openings. Everyone must attend the audition day or schedule a make-up to show your re-commitment to the show and rehearsal process.
“Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!” – MTI
Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 14 at the Inland Pacific Ballet Academy studios. Please bring a headshot, resume and prepare 16 to 32 bars of musical theatre music that shows off your vocal ability. Wear clothes that you are comfortable to move in and be ready to dance and possibly read from the script. Vocal auditions are not mandatory.
Ages 6-7 1:45 – 2:45 pm
Ages 8-10 3:00 – 4:00 pm
Ages 11-12 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Ages 13-18 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Missed auditions and callbacks will be held on August 17 and 19. (by appt. only)
Performances will be Otober 29, 30, 31 and November 4, 6, 7.
Please note conflicts may determine decisions on casting and those with 3 or more conflicts may not be considered. We value each and every participant, but commitment to rehearsals is crucial for the process and the team effort of the cast.

Review Production contract before attending audition. This will be emailed to you upon sign up.
Submit cast member’s costume measurements through the Measurement Survey.
Attend mandatory Parent Meeting on Zoom- August 27, 7pm

Previous Seussical cast member fees:
If you wish to buy a new shirt, or lost your shirt, $25.
Costume fee is waived unless you are auditioning and get cast in a new role or if you have out-grown your previous costume.
Rehearsals will be at a 50% discount.
Tier 1- Rehearsal fee total is 300, 50% will be $150
Tier 2- Rehearsal fee total is 400, 50% will be 200
Tier 3- Rehearsal fee total is 475, 50% will $237.50
The 50% discount on rehearsal fees is to cover production costs, which includes, mic, rental, rights, crew, and insurance.
The remaining 50% which usually pays the staff costs, we are gifting.
