ACTORS NEEDED FOR FUTURE LIMITED OFF-BROADWAY PRODUCTION.

SUMMER 2021 PANDEMIC PROTOCOLS NOTWITHSTANDING, OUR GOAL IS TO HAVE IN PERSON REHEARSALS BEGIN JUNE 2021 if not sooner.

PERFORMANCES ARE SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 2021

SYNOPSIS: PRE CIVIL WAR MELODRAMA SET IN THE NORTH.

THE FOLLOWING ACTORS ARE NEEDED:

MISS PUDDIN’, a Southern courtesan/ CHLOE, a French maid/ CHERRY GIRL, a prostitute – African American Woman, 20’s-40’s, charismatic, moves well, can speak the following accents; Southern 1800’s, Nova Scotia, CANADIAN 1800’s (French) – ONE character actor must perform all roles.
BIG WILLIE, a traditional Southerner/ WILLIE JR, humble Southern son/ BARTENDER, Irish bartender/ CHERRY HOUSE PATRON, patron – Caucasian American Man, 30s-50s, can speak the following accents; Southern 1800’s, Irish, 1800’s, ALL TYPES welcome – ONE character actor must perform all roles.
SISSY, a Southern prostitute – African American Male 20’s-30’s, charismatic, moves well, does not need to be effeminate, can speak with a Southern accent.
MR HAYES, a bodyguard – American Indian Man OR African American Man, 30s-50s, tough guy, moves well, statuesque a plus, charismatic and animated. The character does not speak.
REHEARSALS BEGIN IN FEBRUARY 2021 VIA ZOOM
