Synopsis: Heriberto, an 80-year-old fisherman, has been dead for 50 years and is stuck in limbo, refusing to go to heaven until he reunites with his beloved wife, Maruca. On the day of her death, three novice angels attempt to help but plagued with Alzheimer’s; she does not recognize Heriberto. Heriberto, with the help of the angels, must try to awaken her memory, but how? Using the music of cumbia (of the 1940s and ’50s), the music they listened to during their courtship in Santa Marta, Columbia.
