DETAILS OF THE PRODUCTION Synopsis: It’s been many years since Alice returned to Wonderland and Hatter is growing impatient. He’s planned an elaborate tea party, sent out invites, and she’s running late – again. Nervously awaiting her arrival, Hatter plans an event unlike any before. He needs to speak to Alice and ensure that this will be her last trip back to Wonderland. Have you ever “Wondered” what happened at that last tea party? Now is your chance to join Hatter and his friends as you are cordially invited to the ‘maddest’ tea party of the year. Don’t be late for this very important date. “Wondered” is a black comedy and will be presented by Dizzy Productions. The play features some of the well-known characters from Alice in Wonderland. It is an Australian award winning 45 minute one act play written by Elodie Boal. One of the unexpected focal points of the play is that it shines the light on the effects of loneliness and how mental health and other social issues can quickly develop. We will be performing the play throughout central Victoria throughout the year, and in particularly we will be performing the play as part of the Chill Out Festival in Daylesford in early March, as the theme for the Festival is Alice in Wonderland.
Whilst the play does present some of the well-known characters from Alice in Wonderland, there is an M15 rating on the play given that some of the content matter at the end is not suitable for young chil
