The Characters
Mrs Mildred Bagshot Late 50’s, upper class English accent, modestly wealthy, has high standards.
Miss Dorothy Foxton Late 20s, English accent, Mildred’s niece, companion and housekeeper.
Bunting the Butler 60s+, upper class English accent, recalcitrant, slow and oppositional.
Colonel Charles Craddock 60s, English accent, military bearing, blustery, stereotypical “old boy”.
Mrs Margaret Craddock 40-55 years, English accent, intelligent and assertive, long suffering wife of the Colonel.
Pierre Marceau 30s, fake French accent overlaying a working class English / East End accent, “French” art dealer (conman!)
Miss Elizabeth Hartley-Trumpington Mid 20s, fake upper class “high society” accent overlaying working class / East End accent.
Miss Joan Maple 60s+, English accent, simply dressed, think Jane Marple but far less impressive.
Inspector Pratt 40-55 years, English accent, long standing police service with little achievement.
Constable Thompkins 20-35 years, English accent, young village policeman, astute, intelligent.
