KING RICHARD’S FAIRE HOLDS VIRTUAL AUDITIONS FOR 40TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON
There’s nothing more “2021” than New England’s largest and longest-running Renaissance Faire holding talent auditions by way of YouTube. For its 40th Anniversary Season, King Richard’s Faire – in lieu of in-person auditions – is asking talented auditioners to create a video of their audition, post on YouTube, and send the link to the producers (or send the video directly).
This year’s 40th anniversary season runs weekends and Monday holidays (Labor Day, Columbus Day) from September 4th through October 24th, 2021.
Audition submissions must include the following: a performance of two contrasting songs, one up-tempo and one ballad, and a monologue showcasing your acting talents (does not have to be Renaissance-themed); and a demonstration of any special performance skills, for example, musical instruments, dance, magic, juggling, stilt walking, sword swallowing, and more.
