AMC series now looking for very specific roles to fill.
The “Walking Dead” franchise of AMC shows is currently filming in the Atlanta area and there is a casting notice out to fill the very specific role of people who are amputees. Specifically, the extras casting directors for the Walking show are seeking arm amputees and they are hoping anyone who knows any, may refer the folks that they know. These are paid extras roles and the TV show films in the Atlanta area.
The roles are to play “walkers” in the show which will be filming shortly in the Savannah area and surrounding areas where filming has been ongoing for the franchise. The show is a spin off of the original series which has been on TV for over a decade and was popular enough to have producers for AMC create spin-offs
Those who fit the descriptions below, are able to submit for the roles via an email submission process which requests pictures be sent directly to the casting directors.
This is you or someone you know, and you were from outside Savannah we need to know we’d like to see photos we like to present options to the Director. We don’t know when it shoots, but it will be coming up in the very near future, please share with everyone, you know let’s get the word out to any Facebook groups, veterans groups or amputee groups.
