The Disney+ project is filming in the Toronto area and Disney casting directors have an open casting call to fill roles in Witch Mountain.

Disney+ and ABC signature’s Witch Mountain is looking to fill a few teen roles, in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area. While the roles are for teens, they are specifically looking for older teens who are at least 18 years of age but can look younger. The roles are open to newbies, so no prior experience of any kind is required.
According to the local Toronto news, all ethnicities are being considered and that the Disney+ show may also be looking to fill a few larger roles including the series lead roles and some regular roles. Disney’s Witch Mountain will be filming in Toronto between November 29, 2022 and December 15, 2022.
The roles are open to any ethnicity, and they’re looking for two series leads and two series regulars. There is a deadline for teen actors to Submit by, which is coming up in just a few days on the 4th of this month.
Witch Mountain is a Disney franchise that has put out multiple films for decades.
Tony (Ike Eisenmann) and Tia Malone (Kim Richards) are two orphaned siblings with extraordinary psychic powers. When their abilities attract the attention of a cruel millionaire, Aristotle Bolt (Ray Milland), he kidnaps them with plans to exploit their powers for financial gain. Tony and Tia escape, and with the help of Jason O’Day (Eddie Albert), a bitter widower camping in a nearby Winnebago, they attempt to elude Bolt and begin to discover their otherworldly origins.
Roles:
Tia, a 16-year-old girl who is “witty and spunky but haunted by a family tragedy,” and 16-year-old Ben, who is a “misfit from the wrong side of the tracks” and a charming “hurt puppy type. The two series regulars are Corey and Peter, who are the lead’s closest friends of the opposite sex.
Corey is a 17-year-old girl who’s friends with series lead Ben. She’s a part of the LGBTQ+ community and considered an “outsider,” according to the casting call.
Peter is a nerdy 16-year-old and Tia’s closest male friend.
LGBTQ+ members are encouraged to audition for her part.
