The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, written in 1926, was one of Agatha Christie’s earliest novels featuring her most famous character, Hercule Poirot. In the story, Poirot retires to a village near the home of a friend, Roger Ackroyd, to pursue a project to perfect vegetable marrows. Soon after, Ackroyd is murdered and Poirot must come out of retirement to solve the case. Full of twists, a multitude of suspects, and a shocking conclusion, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd will mark Nova Fabella Theatre’s first full play, and it’s going to be a fun one!
