How the West Was Haunted

Location: Los Angeles CA

Type: Theater

A magic show within a play in two acts

Mr. B.A. Regalbuto and Director Jeff Hathcock take several classic magic illusions and intertwines them into a story of comedy, mystery and excitement during the days of the wild and wooly west of Lone Pine California. They introduce three original songs, “It isn’t Fair or the Magician’s Assistants’ Lament”, “Pardon Me your Seaweed is Showin’” and “I’m Travelin’”. Mr. Regalbuto presents, a new and innovative feet of magic and skill never before seen on the stage, the Psychic Arrow.

How the West Was Haunted is a magic play. The story follows a snake-oil sales man, Professor Rags and his company, as they are arrested by the Lone Pine Sheriff for not having the proper permits! To avoid being sent to the state penitentiary and ten years hard labor, Rags is forced to buy a haunted theater. He and his company must exorcise a ghost during their vaudeville variety and magic show; thus, the family friendly comic lunacy begins.
