“Seventy-Seven Times” is a student short film that revolves around the inner conflict of a young priest — who recently lost his younger sister to an overdose — when the sister’s friend confesses to being with her the night of her passing.
Shooting will take place in Hawthorne, NJ during the week of August 22nd to 25th (exact dates to be determined dependent on role).
Brief Synopsis:
After losing his younger sister to an overdose, a faithful priest encounters a young woman, who confesses to being the indirect cause of his sister’s death during the Sacrament of Penance. Now, the priest must grapple between either forgiving the young woman or breaking the Seal of Confessions and expose her to the authorities.

Thomas (Priest): Any Male in Mid- to Late- 20s
Madeline (Confessor): Any Female in Late-Teens
Genesis (Sister): Any Female in Late-Teens
Francis (Thomas/Genesis’s Father): Any Male in Late-40s
