HOW I GOT HERE is a new TV series where 2nd Gen Canadians and Americans between the ages of 15 – 25 embark on an adventure of a lifetime as they travel with their parent back to the country of their origin. They’ll immerse themselves in special customs, enjoy thrilling local activities and reunite with important people from their parent’s past. Through this experience, they will uncover firsthand the challenges and sacrifices their parent overcame to immigrate to North America. HOW I GOT HERE brings two generations closer together as they share an amazing trip that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
