Play Synopsis:
The year is 1938 and newly laid-off perfumier Mary Hayes is trying to break into the male dominated world of newspaper journalism. Editor-in-Chief Bosco Godfrey sets a competition between his egotistical star reporter Jeff Kincaid and plucky Mary, assigning them to cover a
society wedding. The best storywriter gets the job.

To book a 20 minute appointment – Provide a two hour availability between 12 – 5, Dec. 11, 2022
Director will respond with a specific 20 minute window for Actors’ Audition time
Audition Format:
Actor will present a 3 – 5 minute Comedic Monologue
Director will offer directorial suggestions about the presentation to see how the Actor can adapt and alter performance based off of suggestions.
Call Back Format:
All Actors, who have been requested to attend the call back, will be required to be at the call backs from 6:00 – 9:00 PM
Actors will be paired with other Actors to read selected scenes from the play
