Premise: A group of individuals during the COVID-19 Pandemic get caught in a series of murders inside their Montreal East Apartment complex. As they continue to solve the mystery, they begin to realize that the killer might be among them.
Candidates inside of ACTRA will be able to apply for any role. The language of this project is English. The actors will receive sample scenes for the character of their choosing and will be asked to record themselves and send in the audio to be considered for the role. Actors must first send a CV and which characters they like to audition for. Finally, they must record their voice for one scene of their chosen character and send it before the deadline.
Note: All ethnicities, disabilities and genders are welcome to apply to all roles. Recording will take place at Spectrum Productions. This radio play will be divided into 11 episodes.
Characters:
Myles (18-30): He is a very chill guy and Logan’s best friend. He works as a pizza chef at a local pizzeria. He would sometimes go for jogs with Logan. During the pandemic, he got to make pizzas from his apartment. It is rare when he loses his cool.
Noah (18-30): He is a talented artist who had to show his work through virtual galas during the pandemic. Despite being talented, he has a really bad sense of humor, which can irritate the people around him from time to time. He cares deeply for those closest to him and would do what it takes to make sure they’re okay.
Isaac (20-40): He’s an intelligent man who knows a lot when it comes to food, chemistry, medicine, and generally complex scientific topics. However, his friends don’t like it when he is constantly bombarding them with facts. Sometimes, he can also be too forgiving for his own good.
Zane (18-30): He’s a charming young man who works as a hairdresser. During the pandemic, he cut people’s hair in his own apartment. He cares for his friends and will do what it takes to help them out.
