Fixer – A new dark comedic coming of age musical

Audition Info:
– Auditions are open to those 16+.
– Auditions will be reviewed in the order they are received.
– Participants must be fully vaccinated.
– Must be willing to attend an in-person callback if requested.
– Part-time rehearsals to begin April 16th, 2022 in Brampton, Ontario. Monday and Thursday evenings, plus Saturday afternoons.
– Performances will be at the Aki Studio Theatre in Toronto, Ontario. You must be available evenings of July 18th to 24th, plus the afternoon of July 23rd.
– This production follows a profit sharing model. All show profits will be divided equally between the cast, crew and artistic team.
Character Descriptions:
– LAILA – Actor to play female, 17. High school senior. Leads double life as the anonymous and mysterious Fixer. To clients she is menacing and calculating. To classmates, friendly and caring. Vocal Range: Gb3-Eb5.
– MATHIAS – Actor to play male, 18. High school senior. Dry, cynical yet deeply loyal. The show’s moral compass. Laila’s childhood friend. Vocal Range: Bb2-Bb4.
– MR. RAILMAN / *PIANIST – Actor/Musician to play male, age 25+. A mildly deranged high school math teacher. All three teachers in the show are double cast as members of the band. Must have strong piano skills. Vocal Range: D3-G4.
– BILLY – Actor to play male, 18. High school senior. Mean spirited and cocky. Hiding deep insecurity for his future. Vocal Range: Bb2-G4.
– JACOB – Actor to play male, 17. High school senior. The satellite friend, willing to bully to blend into the popular crowd and impress Billy. Vocal Range: F3-Eb4.
