Auditions for juvenile dancers for THE MUSIC MAN, currently running on Broadway.
Open Call for male child dancers between the ages of 7 and 12 to join the Broadway production of “The Music Man” which stars Hugh Jackman.
An in person open call will be held on Friday the 13th in the New York City area.
The auditions are looking for boys that are exceptional technical dancers and can also sing. The children auditioning must be under 4’8″ in height.

The Music Man is a musical with book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Willson, based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey. Hugh Jackman stars as Harold Hill.
The Music Man first came to Broadway in the late 50’s and ran for 1,375 performances before the musical closed in 1961. The popular Broadway show received multiple awards including a Tony award for best musical. The show was revived in 2000 and was again revived in 2021 starring Hugh Jackman.
In the story, Harold Hill (Hugh Jackman) plays a conman who poses as a band leader in order to make some money by selling instruments to folks who live in the midwest. Harold Hill poses as a musician and promises to give the children lessons, yet he is not a musician himself and planned to skip town, with their money, before anybody could ever find out that he had no idea what he was doing. naïve Midwestern townsfolk, promising to train the members of the new band.
Harold is not a musician and his only plan was taking their money and running out. Harold meets a librarian who makes him change his mind. The librarian also happens to be a piano teacher named Marian. Realizing that Harold has no idea about music, she befriends him. Harold wins her heart after he helps her younger brother overcome his disabilities.
