The international touring show “Josie & Grace” is seeking an actress to play the legendary Academy Award Winner and European Princess, Grace Kelly/Princess Grace of Monaco.
From the creators of the hit off-Broadway show JOSEPHINE, this new Musical explores the extraordinary mostly untold story of the friendship between two of the most remarkable women of the 20th Century: legendary singer/dancer/activist/spy Josephine Baker and Academy Award Winner and European Princess, Grace Kelly/Princess Grace of Monaco. Winner of the Critic’s Choice Award for Best Play, Musical at the 2021 Orlando International Fringe Festival, JOSIE & GRACE, and the challenges placed upon them and their relationship by powerful men who wanted their voices controlled or silenced.
Role: Grace Kelly/Princess Grace of Monaco, Lead, age 21-50
Seeking a strong Female performer with experience acting and a resemblance to the legendary star, Grace Kelly. There is some singing required, so strong voices are preferred. The play covers 24 years of her life, aging the character from 21-45.
Rehearsal and Performance dates: Rehearsals are flexible, and will be held in person in the Orlando area as well as online.
Compensation and Contract Details: Estimated pay $500-$1500 per week, depending upon length and distance of engagement. Travel and accommodations are always covered. Contracts vary based on the bookings.
