Extras for “THE SUPREMES AT EARL’S ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT”

The production of “The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat” is now filming in the Wilmington area and they need to hire paid extras to fill a variety of on set roles. The Searchlight film is based on the novel of the same name written by Edward Kelsey Moore. The novel, “The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat” came out about a decade ago and was on the New York Times Best Sellers list in 2013.

According to Deadline, Searchlight Pictures has casth Uzo Aduba, Aunjanue Ellis, and Sanaa Lathan to star in the production. Tina Mabry will be directing the project and the script is written by Gina Prince-Bythewood. The story centers on 3 friends, Odette, Clarice, and Barbara Jean, who live in Indiana during the 1960’s.

The book description:

This diner in Plainview, Indiana is home away from home for Odette, Clarice, and Barbara Jean. Dubbed “The Supremes” by high school pals in the tumultuous 1960s, they’ve weathered life’s storms for over four decades and counseled one another through marriage and children, happiness and the blues.

Now, however, they’re about to face their most challenging year yet. Auditions for Kids in Canada for New CBC Show “Bestest Day Ever” Kid Host

A new Canadian Show is holding auditions for kids.

Lopii Productions and CBC Kids partner to bring audiences the “Bestest Day Ever”

Award-winning Canadian kids’ production company Lopii Productions is proud to announce its sixth original series, Bestest Day Ever With My Best Friend! Made in partnership with CBC Kids, Bestest Day Ever is a 20 x 7-minute live-action order set to launch in 2023.

Bestest Day Ever With My Best Friend! is a show that celebrates the cherished relationships children have with their pets and gives them the opportunity to say thank you to that fuzzy, furry, scaly, slithering or feathered friend in an extra big way.

In each adorable episode, we meet an owner and their well-deserving pet, with the help of our host, the owners will come up with an extra special way to say thank you as well as learn some tips to be able to do something nice for their pet when they are back home. Packed with fun, pet kisses, surprises and cuteness, Bestest Day Ever With My Best Friend! is a show that kids will watch with their whole family (and their pets too!).

Lopii Productions will be looking for kids, siblings and families (ages 4-12) with special, deserving pets to apply to be a part of the show to be filmed in January- February 2023. Interested participants can send an email to casting@lopiiproductions.com to be considered!

Bestest Day Ever with My Best Friends! was just one of 12 English projects to be selected and the only children’s program on the slate!

A Physical Therapy TV show is now casting people who are in need of physical therapy nationwide.

AMC TV Show “Fear The Walking Dead” Now Casting in Atlanta

AMC series now looking for very specific roles to fill.

The “Walking Dead” franchise of AMC shows is currently filming in the Atlanta area and there is a casting notice out to fill the very specific role of people who are amputees. Specifically, the extras casting directors for the Walking show are seeking arm amputees and they are hoping anyone who knows any, may refer the folks that they know. These are paid extras roles and the TV show films in the Atlanta area.

The roles are to play “walkers” in the show which will be filming shortly in the Savannah area and surrounding areas where filming has been ongoing for the franchise. The show is a spin off of the original series which has been on TV for over a decade and was popular enough to have producers for AMC create spin-offs

Those who fit the descriptions below, are able to submit for the roles via an email submission process which requests pictures be sent directly to the casting directors.

We are excited to announce auditions for the staged reading of HALLEY’S COMET written by Cam Torres with Music by Eli Bigelow and Lyrics by Eli Bigelow and Michael C. O’Malley and directed by Gary Bigelow.

ABOUT THE PLAY:

The year is 1986 and Halley’s Comet is about to pass over the town of Huntersville. The town has pulled out all the stops for this spectacular wonder. As the town prepares, a young girl spends her night reuniting her parents, a teen scrambles to keep friendships intact, and an elderly couple gets lost in the past. Through the mysticism of the comet, the park, and the night itself, moments from the past meet with the present and guide towards the future as the town embarks on a night that is truly once in a lifetime.

THE PRODUCTION:

Rehearsals: January 3rd-January 18, 2023, generally Tuesday evenings, Saturday afternoon/evenings, and Sunday afternoons. Rehearsal location to be determined.

Anne Hathaway’s New Movie “The Idea of You” Casting Teens & Adults in Atlanta

“The Idea of You” is holding a casting call in Atlanta for Teens to play students.

Anne Hathaway plays Sophie and will star alongside British actor Nicholas Galitzine who plays Hayes Campbell. The upcoming movie is based on a novel written by Robinne Lee. Lee will co-producer “The Idea of You” with Anne Hathaway. The story is about a divorced woman named Sophie, she is 40 years of age, with kids and recently divorced. Sophie gets into a relationship with a British pop star named Hayes Campbell who is part of a popular boy band.
