Track 1 – Male, High School Teen (Range: tenor, D4–B5) Tough and charming, but he can also be aloof and self-involved. He is usually able to talk himself out of sticky situations.
Track 2 – Female, High School Teen (Range: soprano, A3–F#5) New girl in town; sweet, wholesome, naive, cute, and innocent.
Track 3 – Female, High School Teen (Range: alto, A3-C5) Funny, loud, compulsive eater, and awkward member of the Pink Ladies. Loud and pushy with the girls, but shy with boys.
Track 4 – Female, (Range: G3-F5) A senior head cheerleader whose world gets turned upside-down when she transfers schools. She is constantly working toward the goal of a championship and her “one perfect moment.” After using her friends to exact revenge, she realizes that friendship is much more lasting than a trophy.
Track 5 – Female, (Range: F3-Fb5) On a dance crew. Not the sharpest person on the squad but is loud enough to make up for it.
Track 6 – Male, (Range: D3-Bb4) The only male cheerleader. Track 4 boyfriend. Tender and comforting, but not the most adept to his surroundings.
Track 7 – Female, Young woman and an excellent mechanic looking for her dreams to come true. She is more at home in greasy overalls than a dress, which is why she also plays “Ed” a girl in disguise! This role is for a strong singer with a big belt.
Track 8 – Male, A rock‘n’roll heartthrob! A motorcyclin’, guitar-playin’, leather jacket-wearing roustabout! The new kid in town rolls in on his motorcycle and sets the town on fire with his rock’n’roll and dancing. This role requires a strong singer/dancer with charisma.
Track 9 – Male, An awkward young man who longs for love and to be a dentist. This is a wonderfully comedic role that requires a big voice and dance ability.
Track 10 – Female, (Range: Mezzo-Soprano Belt: E3–F5) She knows she is the prettiest girl ever and always wants to show off. Vocal.
Track 11 – Female, (Vocal Range: Alto with strong low range: D3–E5) The class clown, tomboy, always vying for attention.
Track 12 – Male, (Tenor) The exciting, confident dancing and singing host of his own radio show.
Track 13 – Male, (Baritone) Teenage heartthrob, aspiring young Elvis, and male lead dancer.
Track 14 -Male, (person of color) A talented dancer, falls in love with Track 7.
Featured Ensemble will consist of 5 to 6 singer/dancers. May be asked to understudy a track.

Call Type: Submissions for a new production show called Dreamer’s Café, a Jukebox Musical featuring songs from various Tony Award Winning Musicals including All Shook Up, Grease, Bring It On, Memphis, and Ghost the Musical. Casting: Welc Pride Productions is seeking singers and dancers of all gender identities, races, and ethnicities for our Main Stage production of Dreamer’s Cafe musical. This show will feature triple-threat performers who can sing, dance, and act!
What We’re Looking For: Dancers Who Sing-Outstanding dancers with a variety of styles in their repertoire. Stand out performance quality and strong technique are required. Dancers must have the ability to harmonize. Tumbling skills are a plus! Singers Who Dance-Powerhouse singers who possess versatility and unique style in contemporary music genres, Pop/Rock, R&B/Soul, with great harmony skills.
The cast will consist of 14 performers and some tracks will be understudied. Compensation: $10 per hour for rehearsal. Shows will be tip outs, and if you live 30 miles or more away from the venue, you will be given a gas card. Food will also be provided!
