HEATHERS THE MUSICAL TEEN AUDITION

Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously handsome new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized butt… but J.D. has another plan.

Brought to you by the award-winning creative team of Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness, Desperate Housewives), Laurence O’Keefe (Bat Boy, Legally Blonde) and director Andy Fickman (Reefer Madness, She’s the Man), Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition is a hilarious and heartfelt new show based on the greatest teen comedy of all time.

Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 5 PM to 8 PM weekly. There will be eight weeks of rehearsal with a full run on the week of December 5 through the 10th. Show dates are December 10 2 PM and 7 PM. Cass must be between the ages 12 to 19.

To be cast for the show you must be at rehearsals and if you have any conflicts, please notify us immediately so we can make arrangements.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Rehearses Oct. 11, 18, 25; Nov.1, 8, 15, 29; Tech rehearsal will be held Dec 5-9 and show Dec 10- 2pm and 7pm

Times: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Arts In CT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This is a no-fee production. the cast is asked to get their own costumes and help build sets and fundraisers.

Arts in CT’s Westville Performing Arts Center is committed to open, inclusive auditions. Experience is not necessary and all are welcome.

Videos can be sent in if you are not able to attend in-person auditions.

DIRECTIONS:

• For musicals: Make a video recording of yourself

performing two approximately one-minute cuts of contrasting songs that

show off your voice and versatility. Please perform over a backing track

– do not sing a capella or over a track with lyrics. Be sure to state

your name, age, and role you would like at the start of your video.

• For plays: Make a video recording of yourself performing two approximately one-minute monologues that show off your versatility. Please use a neutral background and state your name at the start of your video.

• Upload recordings to Google Drive, DropBox, Vimeo, or YouTube. Make sure the settings allow anyone with the link to view it.

• Include the link under “Additional Information” below or email links to: info@artsinct.org
