The Human Race Theatre Company is holding auditions for the 2022 / 2023 season.
The theater is in the Dayton, Ohio area and is looking for local actors to fill various roles in their upcoming stage productions.
About the theater: For 35 years, The Human Race has pushed the boundaries of creativity and brought theatrical excellence to the Dayton, Ohio community. The theater company is a Dayton professional regional theatre company, exploring the human experience and promoting enlightenment, inclusion and understanding while startling us all into a renewed awareness of ourselves.
AUDITIONS – VIDEO SUBMISSIONS – ADULTS ONLY:
MONDAY, MAY 9 – FRIDAY, MAY 20, 2022
Rehearsals are primarily Monday – Friday evenings, and daytime on weekends. Auditions are open to Non-Equity and Equity Actors (unless otherwise noted), with Non-Equity actors having the opportunity to join the Equity Membership Candidacy Program. We are looking for age-appropriate actors. All roles open to all gender identities and ethnicities.

Plays only: Come prepared two contrasting contemporary 1.5 minute monologues.
Musical only: Come prepared with 32 bars each of two contrasting contemporary musical theatre pieces.
Plays and Musicals: Come prepared with BOTH requirements listed above.
The Human Race Theatre Company is a professional theatre that works under a Small Professional Theatre Contract (SPT 6) and performs in the Loft Theatre, a 212-seat thrust stage.
