We are looking for actors who identify as Latino/a/x/e and/or Hispanic.
Characters:
ABUELA: 50s-60s – Keeper of stories, looks like an amazing hugger, smells like warm bread, has crocheting nearby always, wise.
MAMA MARIA: late 50s, Latina/Indigenous, she’s faced a lot of changes in her town as the Spaniards have colonized. Nothing gets past her.
*These characters will be played by the same actor*
MUSICIAN/ENSEMBLE: Any age range/gender. This actor/musician will be providing musical accompaniment for the show and will be a part of the acting ensemble
