Live in the UK? If so, The Pet Show is now casting folks in the UK and their beloved pets to be featured on The Pet Show.
About the show:
While previous seasons and episodes of the show featured on celebrities, news has it that the upcoming episodes will be focused on everyday people and the pets they love. It’s a prime time family show in a 60′ Sunday night slot.
Dermot O’Leary and Joanna Page celebrate the UK’s animal obsession. Reporter and biologist Patrick Aryee will be out and about bringing us the most incredible stories and vet Dr. James Greenwood and behaviourist Chirag Patel will be on hand to solve your pets’ problems. Plus, actor Ben Miller and his dog will be the first celebrity to take on our agility course.
The nation’s love of pets is about to go primetime as ITV launches The Pet Show, a brand new family entertainment series celebrating the UK’s animal obsession. Hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Joanna Page, The Pet Show, produced by Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios, is a weekly series shot on location across the UK and will allow viewers to see celebrities coo over their much-loved creatures.
Honouring everything that makes our animals so special, the series will feature heartwarming human interest stories, entertaining competition strands and informative reports. From animals who have displayed incredible acts of heroism, to those with awe inspiring talents, to celebrity pets, The Pet Show will offer insights, anecdotes and advice from the nation’s top animal experts. Debuting on ITV and ITV Hub in the Autumn, the series sees Dermot and Joanna joined by a presenting team that includes wildlife film maker Patrick Aryee.
Every week, Dermot and the team will also be joined by a special guest celebrity and their treasured pet dog, as they reflect on their unique relationship. At the end of the show, the celebrity and their pet will then participate in a ‘Best in Show’ competition, an agility course that puts their beloved pet’s skills and charm to the test and will hopefully earn them the top spot on the celeb pooch leaderboard. THE PET SHOW is a weekly entertainment show celebrating the nation’s favourite obsession…. pets. Presented by Dermot O’Leary and Joanna Page and a team of experts from a location in the English countryside it will include everything you ever wanted to know about pets of all shapes, sizes and breeds. There will be a mix of fun, heart-warming, entertaining and informative studio items and VTs from the likes of The Pet of The Year, celebrating the nation’s most heroic pet through to celebrities pets competing in a ‘Best of Show’ strand.
