Cindy Tolan Casting is holding an open dance call for a new ‘Untitled Ballet Show’ by the creators of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ & ‘Gilmore Girls’, Amy Sherman-Palladino & Dan Palladino, choreographed by Marguerite Derricks.
OPEN CALL DATE: Monday, November 7th, 2022
LOCATION: Mark Morris Dance Center: 3 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217
We’re looking for the following:
Adult Male Dancers: ages 18-40 yrs, all ethnicities, strong ballet background and advanced partnering experience.
Adult Female Dancers: ages 18-40 yrs, all ethnicities, strong ballet background and advanced partnering experience.
Young Male Dancers: ages 12-17 yrs, all ethnicities, strong ballet background required with advanced partnering experience.
Young Female Dances: ages 12-17 yrs, all ethnicities, strong ballet background required with advanced partnering experience.
PLEASE COME WARMED UP & READY TO DANCE.
Male Dancers should wear form fitting ballet attire and bring ballet slippers.
Female Dancers should wear leotards & tights and bring ballet slippers & pointe shoes.
We will be seeing talent on a first come, first served basis to learn the dance combination.
SIGN-IN TIMES:
9am-10am: Adult Male Dancers
11am-12pm: Adult Female Dancers
1pm-2pm: Young Male Dancers
2pm-3pm: Young Female Dancers
COVID PROTOCOL: All talent will be required to wear proper protective face masks (KN95s or KN94s) at all times while indoors & auditioning.
If you are currently experiencing any COVID-related symptoms (fever or chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, and/or muscle or body aches) or have tested positive for COVID in the past 10 days, please stay at home and do not attend the audition.
Additionally, you must be fully vaccinated and boosted in order to attend the audition—requirements may vary by vaccine brand.
