“I am Daniel. I am waiting for my first appointment with a psychiatrist. I never thought I’d be here…me seeing a psychiatrist. A couple of months ago, I went to my PCP because my wife insisted. She was complaining that I am always down and that I am not involved enough with my kids. I told her it was just the stress from trying to help my parents, my dad has advanced prostate cancer, on top of my demanding job and kids. But eventually I just wanted to stop arguing about it, so I agreed to go see my doctor. Dr. Humiston diagnosed me with depression. I started treatment, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I hope Dr. Whitley can help.”
