CASTING NOTICE:
Seeking cast for “ART”, a comedic short film about a 12 yr old boy that ends up in an ART class with a bunch of 8yr old girls.
Written by Ruby Garnet Singleton and produced by Digital Films 21st Century “DF21C” productions, and in collaboration with Damage on the Stack and Make ART Hurt productions.
CASTING:
Casting for seven – 6-10 year old girls.
Locals ONLY – there is no budget for travel.
Filming location – Office Evolution 10304 Eaton Pl suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22030, USA on October 7th or 8th, 2023.
Send a current photo of the child in the outfit she would wear on the day of filming or a picture of the outfit. Outfits need to be bright and colorful, with unicorns, glitter, sequins, rainbows, etc…what you would expect an 8 yr old girl to be wearing on her first day of school.

Day players will have a few lines each, featured extras will not have individual speaking lines and will not be mandated to come to rehearsal. I am flexible and if the talent and work ethic is there, I will edit the script to upgrade a featured extra to day player and pay the day player rate.
Managing Expectations:
“ART” will be filmed on either Oct 7th or 8th in Fairfax, VA – please be available on both dates. The specific day will be confirmed by the first of September.
The film day will consist of approx. 6 hours.
Food and Beverages will be provided on set.
Contract – all actors will receive a contract once they are casted.
Rehearsals – we will have two rehearsals via zoom; 1 in September and 1 in October. I will send out a doodle form to get an idea of when actors are available for rehearsals. Rehearsals will be no more than an hour and are mandatory.
Payment – actors will receive payment via cash or preferred method of payment on the day we wrap filming.
All actors will receive IMDB credit.
If I receive an audition from you, you will receive a response and feedback regardless if you are casted or not.
