Auditions for Disney show going on in Hawaii.
Would you love to star in a Disney show? If you live in Hawaii and meet the specs below (which are quite limited), you may just get your chance because the lead role of Lilo is still up for grabs. If you fit the descriptions, actually if you have a child that fits the description of the role below, you may actually be able to land a Disney audition for a major Disney show.
The animated Disney movie “Lilo and Stitch” is being turned into a live action movie or TV show. This may be for a streaming live action show that was announced last year. The original casting notice went out right before the start of the Thanksgiving Holiday and it seems that the casting directors have yet to find the young actress to fill in the role of Lilo.
Disney is working on a new show, the live action version of Lilo & Stitch and they are about to be in production in Hawaii, except that they are still looking for a young actress to fill the role of a young Lilo. The role is for a girl who looks to be between the ages of 6 and 8. Lilo is described as a 6 to 8 year old who is a native Hawaiian girl. The character loves Hula, surfing, wildlife and has a special affinity for all things that may be described as gross. The role is for a young actress who is of Hawaiian, Polynesian or Maori descent.
The story of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch is as follows:
A young girl’s close encounter with the galaxy’s most wanted extraterrestrial. Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a small ugly “dog,” whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren’t in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Through her love, faith and unwavering belief in ohana, the Hawaiian concept of family, Lilo helps unlock Stitch’s heart and gives him the ability to care for someone else.
A news site in Hawaii has announced the production along with the casting call for the Disney movie. Calling all keiki who want to become movie stars! Casting directors are still looking for actors to star in the live-action remake of “Lilo and Stitch.” Ohana Casting Group announced a casting call for the remake and said it’s still looking for a young girl to play Lilo. The casting director, Rachel Whitley Sutton, described the role as a girl who’s about 6 to 8 years old, loves hula, surfing and wildlife — and has a special affinity for all things “gross.”
