New season of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is now casting for 2024.
“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” returns to ABC in 2024 and the show has been holding casting calls in various locations on the US and is now looking for deserving families in the Houston, Texas area that could totally use a full makeover of their homes.
“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is making a return to television and is on the hunt for individuals in need of a home transformation. In a notable twist this time, they are open to the idea of considering renters who wish to have their living spaces revamped, all without any permanent structural alterations.

Extreme Makeover will be hosted by Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, renowned as the founders of The Home Edit lifestyle brand. Their next stop is Houston, Texas and the production team is seeking Houston families eager to have their homes undergo a stunning renovation. Unlike its prior iterations, this revamped “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is expanding its horizons by welcoming families who both own and rent their homes into the fold.
Originally airing on ABC’s screens from 2004 to 2012, and with a subsequent season in 2020 on HGTV, this beloved reality home makeover series is returning to its original home on ABC. The new season is currently in the works, although an official air date has yet to be announced.
