The production / workshop is looking for young actors and dancers to participate in the holiday production

“The Night Before Christmas”
Based on the famous poem by Clement C. Moore The Night Before Christmas, the storyline of the ballet was jointly developed in 2022 by Casperson and Joel Ackerman, a writer/publisher/producer and current creative director for Angel Studios.
The holiday production at the Utah Theatre will be a collaborative effort by Ballet Aligned and the Utah Festival Conservatory of the Performing Arts, the youth educational arm of the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre. The Utah Theatre is located at 18 West Center Street in downtown Logan.
You must complete an individual form for everyone who wishes to attend the audition
Every dancer age 6-17 who registers AND attends both dance classes and rehearsals will receive a part
Classes for dancing roles will be assigned within a week of the audition. However class roles MAY not be assigned until 2-4 weeks AFTER classes have begun.
You MAY participate in classes WITHOUT performing. The $25 performance fee will be dropped.
You MAY register for classes and participate in the performance without auditioning. The audition process helps us cast for more highlighted/specialty roles AND ensure dancers are assigned appropriate class levels for their abilities.
There is no obligation to participate in Ballet Aligned classes if you audition. Classes Aug 30-Sept 1 are offered free of charge so your dancer can decide if they would like to proceed. Payment for the class (and performance fee where applicable) completes your registration and IS NOT DUE until Sept 10.
