Open auditions in Oklahoma for the Norman Music festival.
The Oklahoma music festival is known for showcasing the best of indie and emerging artists. It’s a festival where music enthusiasts can discover new and exciting talents while also enjoying the performances of established bands. This diverse lineup includes everything from rock, folk, and blues to hip-hop, electronic, and experimental sounds, ensuring there’s something for everyone’s musical taste.
The music festival will be held over a 3 day period where they feature an impressive lineup of more than 250 acts. April 25, the festival’s opening day, one outdoor stage and 10 indoor stages will be in action, followed by four outdoor stages and an accompanying 15 indoor stages for the other 2 days. The 2024 edition of this free, three-day event is scheduled to run from April 25 to April 27.
Since they book so many acts and attract massive crowds from all over Oklahoma and beyond, they will be holding an open call for music acts and performers that would love a chance to be booked for the festival.
Since its inception in 2008, downtown Norman has proudly hosted this annual and admission-free festival. It consistently draws over 100,000 attendees and has witnessed performances by notable headliners such as Omar Apollo and Portugal.

NMF is a FREE 3-day 300+ act event dedicated to original music with the following format.
Thursday – 1 outdoor stage, 10 indoor venue stages
Friday – 4 outdoor stages, 15 indoor venue stages
Saturday – 4 outdoor stages, 15 indoor venue stages
All music genres are welcome and encouraged, but no cover bands please – original music only.
