PROJECT SYNOPSIS
A daughter has charged high expenses on her dad’s credit card. The dad confronts the daughter and teaches her a lesson.

Thomas is a workaholic single father. He constantly puts work before his daughter, which causes her to defy him. Instead of spending time with her, he punishes her for her actions, which brings him satisfaction. Thomas is always dressed professionally.

DESCRIPTION
Mauve is a rock music loving teenager who constantly defies her father. She is seeking his affection, but never receives it. Instead, she uses his credit card to waste his money on all the things she wants to buy. She has a snarky personality and dresses creatively.

INT. REC ROOM – DAY
MAUVE, 17, is in a rec room lying on her stomach on a couch. She is scrolling through the Apple Store website on her phone. Music is blaring out of a large speaker system. Thomas bursts through the door and unplugs the speaker. Mauve looks up from her phone clearly annoyed.
MAUVE
(loudly) What do you think you’re doing?
THOMAS
(shaking the speaker cords in his hands at Mauve)
Excuse me??? How dare you spend my money without my permission! You are such a self-absorbed, spoiled brat!
Thomas drops the cords and steps forward to hover over Mauve.
Mauve looks up at her dad.
THOMAS
You need to be taught a lesson!
MAUVE
Whatever.
Mauve looks back at her phone ignoring her dad.
THOMAS
What were you thinking? I can’t afford these credit card charges… that card was for emergencies.
Mauve gets up, clearly challenging her dad – they end nose to nose.
THOMAS
(sternly) Give me the card. Now.
Thomas puts his hand out gesturing to hand it over. They continue staring at each other, neither side willing to back down. A silence fills the room. Mauve smirks.
THOMAS
You know what? I think I’ll deal with this another way.
Mauve rolls her eyes at her dad.
MAUVE
Like how?
