The Pageant of the Masters in Orange County is a spectacular annual event that captivates audiences with its extraordinary blend of art, theater, and creativity.
Located in Laguna Beach, this renowned production has become a cultural gem, drawing art enthusiasts and curious spectators alike. The centerpiece of the event is the “living pictures” presentation, where skilled performers and unskilled volunteers, meticulously recreate famous works of art, transforming themselves into living, breathing representations of the original masterpieces. “À La Mode: The Art of Fashion” has been announced as the 2024 theme.
That’s right, the event is a living art display which features models portraying the works of the great masters in a living art exhibit. Models are all made up to represent characters in great works of art, from the masters.
These living tableaux vivants are accompanied by narration, music, and elaborate sets, creating a mesmerizing and immersive experience. The Pageant of the Masters not only celebrates the beauty of art but also showcases the dedication and talent of the performers who bring these timeless pieces to life.

Perfect! You could be a volunteer cast-member in the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach.
The world-famous Pageant of the Masters is looking for volunteers to participate in the 2024 summer presentation of “À La Mode: The Art of Fashion.”
Volunteers of all ages needed. No theater experience necessary.
In addition to needing volunteers to pose in the Pageant, volunteers are needed for positions in the wardrobe, make up, and headdress departments, as well as cast area coordinators and refreshment servers, among other positions.
