THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES
Community theater auditions for 4 female roles in the Hill County Community Theater production of “The Marvelous Wonderettes.”
Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 16th and 17th, from 6 – 8 pm at Hill Country Community Theatre in Cottonwood Shores, Texas.
“The Marvelous Wonderettes” is a nostalgic musical that takes audiences on a journey back in time to the 1950s and 1960s. Set in a small-town high school, the story revolves around four bubbly and talented young women who are chosen to entertain at their school’s senior prom. As they step into the spotlight, the audience is treated to a medley of classic pop hits from the era, performed with infectious enthusiasm and harmonious precision.
Each character has a unique personality that adds to the charm and humor of the show, making it a fun-filled ride through the trials and tribulations of teenage life, love, and dreams. “The Marvelous Wonderettes” is a toe-tapping, feel-good production that celebrates the music, fashion, and spirit of a bygone era while delivering a dose of heartwarming nostalgia.
