Hello.
We are Boogie Nachts Theatre, as of very recently. We have a really good play we’re going to stage at the Alma Theatre in October 2023. I know you raised an eyebrow at the words ‘really good’ but I’m struggling to find a better descriptor. “Not bad” seems too Sunday Times, and “Perfectly, exquisitely sublime” too Sunday Sport.
We are holding a table read of the play – a dark, literate comedy – on Sunday 26th March, from 2pm to 4pm (approx.) at a central Bristol location we have yet to lock down because they refuse to yield. But they shall. They shall.
We are looking for actors to read the play. The parts are mostly all male, sadly, but women (and non-binary/trans) are welcome, and we can’t pay, but we are very polite and pleasant and refreshingly unpretentious.
Please get in touch if you’re interested, because there’s really nothing better than spending Sunday 26th March from (approx.) 2-4pm reading a dark, literate comedy from Boogie Nachts Theatre, a very recently formed team, at a central Bristol location that we’ve yet to lock down because they are yet to yield. Bit they shall. Oh, they shall.
We will provide snacks.
