Rehearsals:
Rehearsal date/time – e.g. every Monday & Thursday commencing from Monday 30/10 at 7pm.
Note we will have a 3 week break from rehearsals over Christmas period
Synopsis: This is an Australian play written specifically for stage and is not a combination of some episodes from the TV series which was written in the 1980’s. Mother now has to contend with mobile phones, the internet, Skype calls, personal alarm systems none of which existed in the TV series.
We are seeking one actor (Male) actor does not have to look like the very well known cast members of the show. The vision is to create a fresh Arts Theatre Cronulla production and performance, however the characters and the plot will follow the well known style and theme of Mother and Son as familiar to audiences the world over. The dialogue is conversational and mostly one or two lines at most, with no long monologues. And very funny.

A womaniser and always looking for an angle – but wonderful son according to mother – a great character role.
